Budapest School Általános Iskola és Gimnázium

Budapest School (BPS) is a primary and secondary school in Hungary. The school was founded in 2015 as a private study group and later, as the number of students increased and the organisation became more structured and complex, it became an official Hungarian state accredited  school in 2020. The school itself is a network of microschool locations throughout the country. In the whole organisation there are 15 microschools.

The school currently holds 800 students from age 6 to 18, appr 140 full and part time teachers and administrative staff.

One of the above mentioned microschools is Budapest School Campona, where 73 of 6 to 14  year old primary school students study. BPS Campona is located in the 22nd district of Budapest.

Budapest School aims to create an educational environment in which children become naturally equipped with the mindset and skills needed to lead a happy life. We deeply believe in what Sir Ken Robinson, renowned educationalist said: „Our task is to educate students’ whole being so they can face the future. We may not see the future, but they will and our job is to help them make something of it.”.

In BPS, children discover and develop their self-confidence and abilities in a safe and supportive community. It makes them aware of how they can align their aspirations with their possibilities. They learn to use their own strengths and find joy in meeting the challenges they set for themselves. They are constantly moving towards their goals while also paying attention to their health, relationships and happiness.
